German education authorities review reporting mandates following xenophobic incident at school festival

Students at a private school in Baden-Württemberg were recorded chanting xenophobic slogans, including participation by students with migration backgrounds. The state Ministry of Education is now evaluating mandatory reporting requirements for racist incidents in schools to address the normalization of extremist rhetoric among youth.
