Brazil 2024 Annual Trade Survey reports R$ 7.7 trillion in net operating revenue

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) reported that the trade sector generated R$ 7.7 trillion in net operating revenue in 2024, supported by 1.6 million companies and 10.6 million employees. The data is not comparable to previous years due to significant methodological and operational changes implemented in the 2024 survey.
