Ecuadorian authorities investigate illegal trafficking of 32 Galápagos iguanas

The Ecuadorian Ministry of Environment has recovered 32 Galápagos iguanas in Quito that were found in a state of dehydration and weakness. Authorities are currently investigating the trafficking route used to transport the protected species to the mainland and are coordinating their repatriation to the archipelago.
