Croatian PM Plenković alleges opposition politicization of Gospić hazardous waste scandal

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković claims opposition parties are exploiting the discovery of 30,000 tonnes of illegal hazardous waste in Gospić to destabilize his administration. The government is currently organizing the removal and export of the waste as parliament convenes for an extraordinary session to address the environmental breach.
