Trial commences for 2022 Resistencia Mapuche Lafkenche attack on Grollmus family

The Oral Tribunal of Cañete has opened proceedings against members of the Resistencia Mapuche Lafkenche (RML) for an armed attack on the Grollmus family in August 2022. The prosecution intends to utilize 11 protected witnesses to establish culpability in a case that highlights ongoing security tensions in the Bío Bío region.
