Iran arrests nephew of Nobel laureate Narges Mohammadi in Mashhad

Iranian security forces arrested Komeil Mohammadi, nephew of imprisoned Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi, in Mashhad on October 1. The arrest follows a pattern of targeting activists' families, signaling continued repression of dissent. The move may escalate international scrutiny of Iran's human rights record.
