Churubusco-Xochiaca Tunnel operationalized to mitigate flooding in eastern State of Mexico

Governor Delfina Gómez and Conagua Director Efraín Morales López have activated the Churubusco-Xochiaca Tunnel to address chronic flooding in the eastern State of Mexico. The project aims to improve regional drainage capacity, though its long-term efficacy against extreme weather events remains to be tested.
