Trump: US Maintains Direct Contact Channels with Yemen's Houthis

President Trump disclosed that the US has communication channels with the Houthis in Yemen, a notable shift from prior public posture of no direct engagement. The statement is brief and lacks detail on the nature or level of contact, leaving scope and purpose unclear. This could signal a potential opening for de-escalation or renewed diplomatic efforts in the Yemen conflict.
