Uruguayan PN deputy proposes rent subsidy for low-income youth and students

Substitute deputy Myriam Silva of the Partido Nacional has introduced a legislative bill to provide rent subsidies for low-income young families and students relocating from the interior. The proposal is currently awaiting review by the Housing and Territory Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, with the scope and funding mechanisms yet to be finalized.
