De Niro accuses Trump of shielding Epstein, demands release of files

Actor Robert De Niro publicly accused President Trump of being the 'biggest protector' of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and of obstructing the release of remaining Epstein files. The claim is an opinion by a public figure, not a verified fact, and adds to political pressure on Trump over the Epstein case. The development is notable for its political impact rather than new evidence.
