Rare Syzygospora parasitic fungus identified in Belovezhskaya Pushcha

Researchers have documented the first recorded instance of a Syzygospora parasitic fungus in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha reserve. The fungus exhibits hyperparasitic behavior, infecting other fungal species and inducing morphological changes in their fruiting bodies.
