Visa launches stablecoin infrastructure platform for financial institutions

Visa has introduced the Visa Stablecoin Platform (VSP) to facilitate the issuance, custody, and transfer of stablecoins for financial institutions and fintechs. The platform is currently in beta and integrates with the Open USD (OUSD) stablecoin, marking a significant expansion of Visa's blockchain-based payment infrastructure.
