Two earthquakes hit Ecuador and Peru coast; no damage reported

The Geophysical Institute recorded two earthquakes early Monday: one epicentered in Puembo, Ecuador, and another off the coast of Peru. No damage or casualties have been reported, and the events appear to be routine seismic activity in a seismically active region.
