The Cruciferra crypter is being utilized in phishing campaigns to facilitate the deployment of 11 malware families, including Remote Access Trojans and information stealers. The tool employs Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver (BYOVD) techniques to disable security software and minimize forensic footprints, with observed activity linked to the threat actor TA4922.
