Pleistocene glyptodon fossil discovered in Neuquén, Argentina

A local resident in Neuquén province discovered fossilized remains of a glyptodon, a giant prehistoric mammal. The specimen is estimated to date back between 700,000 and one million years to the Pleistocene epoch.
