Slutsky Unanimously Elected LDPR Faction Leader in Ninth Duma

Leonid Slutsky, chairman of Russia's Liberal Democratic Party, was unanimously elected to lead its faction in the ninth State Duma. This consolidates his control over the party's parliamentary wing following the 2026 elections. The move signals continuity in LDPR leadership under Slutsky, who has held the chairmanship since 2022.
