Ukraine's new auto turrets down first Russian jet-powered drones

Ukraine's Air Force reports that newly installed automatic gun turrets have successfully engaged and downed Russian jet-powered drones for the first time. Twelve turrets were previously announced by President Zelensky as deployed in high-activity areas, including near Kyiv. This marks an operational debut of a new counter-drone capability, though the scale and effectiveness beyond this initial engagement remain unverified.
