Peruvian court convicts individual for sexual extortion involving intimate media

A court in La Libertad, Peru, has convicted an individual for extorting an ex-partner through threats to distribute intimate videos. The defendant is ordered to pay S/8,000 in civil reparations and additional daily fines following an investigation by the Cybercrime Prosecutor's Office.
