Russian Deputy Sports Minister Nikitin Dismissed After Duma Election

Alexander Nikitin was removed as Deputy Minister of Sport and Secretary of State after being elected to the State Duma's ninth convocation. This is a routine administrative transition following an electoral win, with no policy implications. The move aligns with standard Russian practice of officials resigning upon taking legislative seats.
