Bern distributes 150 chestnut trees to residents to adapt to climate change

The city of Bern is giving away 150 chestnut trees to residents, aiming to promote urban greening and climate adaptation. The initiative reflects local efforts to mitigate heat and enhance biodiversity, though its direct impact is limited. This is a routine municipal climate action, not a major policy shift.
