Russia expels Hungarian diplomats in retaliation for Budapest's spy-linked expulsions

Russia has expelled a group of Hungarian diplomats in a tit-for-tat response to Budapest's earlier expulsion of 10 Russian diplomats for espionage. The move escalates bilateral tensions and signals Moscow's willingness to retaliate against EU member states. The exact number of expelled diplomats is undisclosed, and further reciprocal actions cannot be ruled out.
