Romanian financial system assets reach 1.4 trillion RON in 2025, 13.6% annual growth

Romania's financial system assets grew by 13.6% year-on-year in 2025, totaling over 1.4 trillion RON. The banking sector remains the dominant component, accounting for 71% of total financial assets according to National Bank of Romania data.
