Sámi Parliament member Anni Koivisto resigns due to professional conflict of interest

Anni Koivisto has resigned from her seat in the Sámi Parliament to avoid a conflict of interest with her new role as a special expert in early childhood education within the same institution. Her successor, Paavo Riihitammela, assumes the seat following a prior Supreme Administrative Court ruling regarding his eligibility for the electoral roll.
