Vienna implements new restrictions on e-scooters in public transit network

Vienna public transport operator Wiener Linien will restrict e-scooters on subways to off-peak hours and ban them entirely from trams and buses starting September 1st. The policy change follows safety concerns regarding battery fires and space constraints in transit vehicles.
