Equinor finds up to 10.3M boe at Gullfaks South, Norway

Equinor announced a discovery of 3.3-10.3 million barrels of recoverable oil equivalent in gas at the Gullfaks South field, drilled as a sidetrack during a production well campaign. The find supports mature North Sea asset life extension but is modest in size. Commercial viability depends on tie-in to existing infrastructure.
