Costa Rican Attorney General requests forensic expert report on Gandoca-Manzanillo forest boundaries

The Procuraduría General de la República (PGR) has requested a technical assessment from the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) to delineate protected forest areas within the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. The Constitutional Chamber has received the filing, but judicial review remains pending, leaving the legal status of land use in the area unresolved.
