Codelco and Pucobre form joint venture for Tovaku copper project

State-owned Codelco and private firm Pucobre have established a joint venture to develop the Tovaku open-pit mine, with Pucobre holding a 60% stake and Codelco 40%. The project is scheduled to commence production in 2030, marking a long-term expansion of Chilean copper extraction capacity.
