Polish foresters pause joint plan for two new reserves near Przemyśl

State Forests (LP) withdrew at the last moment from a joint application with activists to create two new nature reserves, Las Olbrzymów and Rysiego Lasu, near Przemyśl, pausing the decision. The reversal breaks a prior commitment and signals a shift in institutional stance, though reasons remain unclear. This matters as it affects local environmental governance and trust between state agencies and civil society.
