Ukraine receives NASAMS missiles amid air defense shortage, Zelensky confirms

Ukraine has received a new batch of missiles for its NASAMS air defense systems, President Zelensky announced on Sept. 29, addressing a reported shortage. The delivery bolsters Ukraine's near-term air defense capacity but does not resolve the broader systemic shortfall. This is a routine resupply within an established pattern of Western military aid.
