Poland to Drop Clean Air Criterion for Tourist Fee, Raise Cap to 5 PLN

Poland will remove the clean air condition for the local tourist fee from January 1, 2027, and raise the maximum rate to 5 PLN per night. Zakopane, which previously lost court cases over fee legality, will benefit from the change. The move is a domestic regulatory adjustment with limited market impact.
