Unidentified Russian 'Iva' air-defense system at Ukraine border may be Chinese or Iranian design

Russian state TV aired footage of a portable air-defense system dubbed 'Iva' that does not match known Russian models, prompting analysts to suggest a Chinese or Iranian origin. The system's provenance is unconfirmed, but if foreign-sourced, it signals deepening defense cooperation and potential sanctions-evasion. This matters as it could indicate Russian reliance on foreign weapons technology amid sustained attrition.
