Argentina Central Bank exceeds IMF reserve accumulation target

The Central Bank of Argentina has surpassed its IMF-mandated reserve accumulation target, having acquired over US$ 13 billion since the inception of its daily purchase program. IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva praised the progress, though the sustainability of these reserves remains contingent on ongoing fiscal and monetary policy adherence.
