Neoenergia Q2 2026 net profit declines 45% year-over-year

Neoenergia reported a 45% drop in net profit to R$ 900 million, primarily attributed to a non-recurring tax refund that inflated the previous year's figures. While net revenue contracted by 3%, the company achieved an 11% increase in EBITDA, though net debt rose 7% to R$ 52.22 billion.
