Israeli firm Cognyte has supplied Texas law enforcement with FalcoNet, a mobile cell-site simulator capable of intercepting mobile device data from vehicles, backpacks, or aircraft. The technology functions similarly to Stingray devices, enabling mass surveillance of all devices within range regardless of suspect status.
