Severe weather causes displacement and infrastructure damage in Rio Grande do Sul

Severe storms, including hail and gale-force winds, have triggered flooding and displacement in the Rio Grande do Sul region. The extent of the damage to local infrastructure and the total number of displaced persons remains under assessment by Civil Defense authorities.
