Chile committee advances bill to suspend licenses during traffic crime investigations

Chile's Chamber of Deputies committee approved in general a bill expanding temporary license suspension for drivers under criminal investigation for traffic offenses. The initiative, led by Deputy Ignacio Achurra, amends existing law. It is at an early legislative stage and its final scope remains uncertain.
