Qantas confirms launch of direct London-Sydney commercial flights for autumn 2027

Qantas has successfully completed a test flight for its 'Project Sunrise' initiative, validating the feasibility of 19-hour non-stop travel between London and Sydney. The airline is now proceeding with further operational testing to prepare for the scheduled commercial launch in late 2027.
