NASA completes simulator study on passenger comfort for urban air mobility vehicles

NASA has utilized flight simulators to identify specific motion profiles causing passenger discomfort in emerging air taxi platforms. This research aims to inform the design of future electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to improve ride quality and public adoption. The findings represent a preliminary step in standardizing human-factors requirements for urban air mobility.
