M4.7 earthquake recorded south of Fiji Islands

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake occurred at a depth of 529 km south of the Fiji Islands. Due to the extreme depth of the hypocenter, the event is unlikely to cause surface damage or trigger a tsunami.
