Ukraine Intensifies Drone Campaign Against Russian Energy, Russia Retaliates on Logistics

Ukrainian forces have intensified long-range drone strikes against Russian oil refineries, including the Slavneft-Yanos facility in Yaroslavl, and Black Sea naval assets. Russia has responded with reciprocal strikes targeting Ukrainian logistics hubs in Pavlohrad, Akhtyrka, and Lozova, as well as commercial infrastructure in Kyiv and a maritime strike near Odesa. This sustained escalation indicates a mutual strategy to degrade critical infrastructure deep behind front lines, with confirmed civilian casualties in Dnipro and Kharkiv from Russian strikes.
