Google, Meta ban Iranian matchmaking app over child marriage promotion

Google and Meta removed the Iranian matchmaking app 'Adam & Hava' from their platforms following a joint letter from 24 Iranian civil and human rights organizations. The app reportedly facilitated child marriages, prompting the tech giants to act. This marks a rare coordinated enforcement action against an Iranian service, though the full scope of the app's reach and the companies' internal review process remain unclear.
