Wildfire breaks out in mixed vegetation near Achladeri, Lesvos; air and ground response underway

A wildfire ignited in a mixed bush and forest area at the intersection of Achladeri towards Polichnito on Lesvos. Two PZL aircraft and one helicopter are conducting aerial firefighting, with ground crews from the Fire Department on scene. The fire is in its early stages; containment status and cause are unconfirmed.
