Garda Trump visit security operation cost estimated €30m, PAC told

Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly disclosed to the Public Accounts Committee that the security operation for Donald Trump's two-day visit cost an estimated €30m. The figure is an estimate and may be revised; the disclosure is notable for its scale relative to Ireland's national security budget. This is a domestic political accountability matter with no direct market implications.
