NY Democrats demand ICE curbs after officer shoots man in car with child

A US immigration officer shot a man in a car in the Bronx, with a five-year-old child present, sparking protests and calls from leading New York Democrats, including AOC, to curb ICE violence. The incident, which involved at least seven shots, is under investigation; details on the man's condition and the officer's justification remain unclear. This escalates domestic political pressure on immigration enforcement, potentially influencing policy discourse ahead of elections.
