UN flags financing gaps in Colombia peace agreement implementation

The UN Mission in Colombia has expressed concern over financing for the implementation of the peace agreement with the De la Espriella government, according to a report from El Espectador. The specific funding shortfalls and affected programs are not detailed, but the statement signals potential delays in key commitments. This matters because inadequate financing could undermine the peace process and stability in post-conflict regions.
