Finland's only nicotine pouch factory closes, moves production to Sweden

The sole nicotine pouch factory in Finland, located in Pietarsaari, is shutting down and relocating production to Sweden. The closure follows Finland's restrictive policies on smoking alternatives, which likely reduced domestic demand and made operations unviable. This signals a negative investment climate for nicotine alternatives in Finland and a shift of production to a more favorable regulatory environment.
