Musician Edilberto Portillo critically wounded in shooting in Chicoloapan

Edilberto Portillo, lead singer of the band Beto y sus Canarios, was shot and critically injured prior to a scheduled performance in Chicoloapan, Mexico. The motive for the attack remains unknown, and authorities have not yet identified suspects.
