Five homeless men found dead along Michigan river trail; serial killer probe underway

Five unhoused men were found dead along a one-mile stretch of the Lansing River Trail, all attacked overnight while lying down, prompting fears of a serial killer. The deaths appear to be a cluster of violent attacks on vulnerable individuals, but the motive and whether a single perpetrator is responsible remain unconfirmed. This is a developing law-enforcement situation with potential public-safety implications.
