Qantas to Launch Sydney-New York Nonstop in 2028 with A350-1000ULR

Qantas announced plans to operate an 18-hour nonstop flight between Sydney and New York by 2028, using Airbus A350-1000ULR aircraft with a range exceeding 16,000 km. This is part of its Project Sunrise initiative, extending its ultra-long-haul network. The route would be one of the longest commercial flights, potentially reshaping air travel connectivity between Australia and the US East Coast.
