Sasol Secunda emissions linked to 1,000 annual deaths, R19bn losses

A new study by the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air attributes approximately 1,000 premature deaths and R19 billion in annual economic losses to air pollution from Sasol's Secunda coal-to-liquids complex. The findings are based on modeling and are not yet independently corroborated.
